Thomas Chappell was born on 17 January 1772.

Thomas Chappell married Pamela Chappell, daughter of Henry Chappell and Elisabeth Rives Chappell, on 6 July 1801 at Sussex County, Virginia, USA. He was 29 at the time.1 Thomas Chappell and Pamela Chappell, his wife, of Sussex County, Virginia, transferred a deed of property recorded 5 May 1825 to Henry Briggs 101 acres for $303, it being one-third of the dower land of the late Elizabeth Presson, from her first husband, Henry Chappell. Although deceased, Elisabeth Rives Chappell Presson and Henry Chappell were mentioned.2

Thomas Chappell died in 1830.

After Thomas Chappell died, his estate went through probate on 5 May 1831 at Sussex County, Virginia.3
