Annie Louise Mitchell Chappell died on 9 September 1947 at age 71. Annie was survived by her husband, Andrew Fletcher Chappell.1 She was buried after 9 September 1947 in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery, located at 16703 Walkers Mill Road, Stony Creek, Sussex County, Virginia, USA.1
