Spent four years in the Navy, from October 1963 to October 1967.
After 5 1/2 years with IBM, I spent the next 9 1/2 with other companys or on my own in the maintenance and/or development of large IBM or IBM compatible systems.
Since leaving the computer field in 1983, he has been doing "various, mostly uninteresting things".
