James Strobbart Seabrook was born in 1862.1 He was the son of Benjamin W. Seabrook and Adeline C. (?).
James Strobbart Seabrook married Elizabeth Heyward Horry, daughter of Edward Shubrick Horry and Mattie Caroline Webb, on 29 November 1888 at Church of the Holy Trinity, Grahamville, South Carolina, USA. Note from Horry Bible: "Elizabeth Heyward Horry and James Strobbart Seabrook were married on the 29th of Nov. 1888, at the alter of the Episcopal Church (Church of the Holy Trinity) at Grahamsville by the Rev. B.B.Sams, She 18 and he at the age of 26."
James Strobbart Seabrook died on 20 April 1890 at Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia, USA, . Note from the Horry Bible: " Died at Savannah, GA. on the 20th April 1890 of spinal meningitis - James Strobbart Seabrook, husband of my daughter Bessie, leaving a son four months old, who has since been called Strobart Horry Seabrook."
