CARTER-VENABLE CO. ELECTS ITS OFFICERS - Reorganized Company at Old Quarters With Increased Capital.
Organization of the Carter-Venable Company, to succeed to firm of Carter, Venable & Co., has been completed, since the death of H. G. Carter and the withdrawal of his interests from the concern. The new company, which has an increased capital, is composer of A. Reid Venable, president; E. M. Eppes, vice-president, and R. H. Sarvey, secretary and treasurer.
These officers were connected with the old establishment of Carter, Venable & Co., Mr. Venable as secretary and treasurer, Mr. Eppes as manager of the seed and shipping department and Mr. Sarvey as a city salesman. The new company will occupy the same quarters as its predecessor, and will engage in the same wholesale and commission hay, grain and feed business.
